About the Camp

One Body One Sound Symphony Orchestra's Summer Music Camp is a transformative week-long program bringing together young musicians for instruction, performance, and community building through music. This year's camp will be held August 10–15, 2026 in Brockton, Massachusetts.

We are seeking dedicated volunteers to help make this experience safe, enriching, and memorable for every camper. If you are passionate about music, youth development, or community service, we invite you to join our team.

Open Volunteer Positions

The following volunteer roles are available for Summer Music Camp 2026:

Admission Staff  (2 positions)

Support camper check-in, manage registration materials, verify enrollment, and serve as the first point of contact for campers and families upon arrival.

Food and Beverage Staff  (8 positions)

Assist with meal preparation, food service, and cleanup throughout the camp week. Ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming dining experience for campers and staff.

Drivers  (4 positions)

Provide safe and reliable transportation for campers and staff as needed during the camp week. Must hold a valid driver's license and be comfortable driving groups.

Maestros / Instructors  (12 positions)

Lead musical instruction sessions, sectionals, and ensemble rehearsals. Share your expertise and inspire campers through hands-on teaching and mentorship.

Social Media Coordinators  (2 positions)

Capture and share the camp experience in real time across OBOSSO's social media platforms. Create engaging content including photos, videos, reels, and stories throughout the week.

Assistant Lodging and Travel Coordinators  (2 positions)

Support the coordination of camper and staff accommodations and travel logistics. Assist with rooming assignments, check-in/check-out, and any lodging or transit needs throughout the week.
